Never in a million years did I think I’d be hosting two family estate sales in 12 months, but here I am, leveling up to pro status to rehome our family heirlooms. Last spring’s Mega Sale was stocked with fabulous finds from my late mother-in-law’s estate, my dad’s office, and a giant purge of my parent’s home and my own. Now, we’re doing it again, proving once and for all that the family that sticks together sells together.
With that said, my parents recently sold our beloved family lakehouse on Lake Texoma, and they moved everything to their garage in Fort Worth. We have been unpacking boxes and goodies and unwrapping fantastic designer furniture and artwork. We even have several pieces of MacKenzie-Child furniture! There’s plenty of custom bedding with beautiful fabric for many bedrooms, gorgeous shell mirrors, and patio furniture aplenty. Most items will be marked around 40-75% of their original value. So, grab your wallet and get ready to pop the trunk — your decorating dreams are about to come true.
VERY IMPORTANT INFO:
Parking: This estate sale takes place on a private street at the end of a cul-de-sac. Parking is extremely limited since the left side of the street will be blocked off to allow proper traffic flow. Please abide by these parking rules for the sanity of our neighbors, emergency vehicles, and the safety of people walking to the house. Towing will be enforced!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
Bundle up and be patient: Speaking of last spring’s family estate sale at my cousin’s home, I will give you a heads up now. We have formed a bit of a reputation for having outstanding sales over the years and people come out of the woodwork to scope out our merch. They park blocks away and wait for more than an hour to get into our sales. So bundle up to stay warm. We can only let in a small group at a time for the safety of everyone and to prevent overcrowding. It may take a short while to get in, but I promise, it’s worth it!

Here is a small sample of the incredible items that are going once, going twice, and will be gone by the end of next weekend. We are preselling large and big-ticket items. First come, first serve. Additionally, we will have lots of kitchen and decor items, tons of custom framed artwork, and four bedrooms worth of custom upholstered bedding and furniture. We also have several different styles of tables, big and small. These treasures are currently stuffed and stacked to the ceiling in a 3-car garage but will be beautifully displayed for all your shopping pleasures Saturday morning.
